This piece has a lot of action. Loaded right by the fire box, this piece has a ton of ash on it, some not even melted, giving it incredible taste face texture. The piece is covered in a blue flashing slip, which reacts so differently depending on where it is in the kiln. This piece has a lot of melted ash on it in areas, giving it a deep purple blue surface in many places. Definitely a unique piece, not many pots lIke this come out of each firing.
